Consolidate takes tracks, applies fx, and re-render's the files in their original places or where you specify.

Consolidation Settings

Consolidation Length

Entire Project

This option will consolidate the entire project from beginning to the end of the last media event.

Loop Selection

This will consolidate only the loop selection of a song:

You will also see the time selection of your consolidation change if you select this option:

Custom

This will allow you to manually enter the time selection for consolidation:

Tracks Consolidated

All

This will apply consolidation to all tracks.

Selected

This will apply consolidation to selected tracks.

Ignore Silence Shorter than xx Seconds (can cause multiple items per-track)

This will automatically trim the files but ignore silence of a specified duration. It can be used to create multiple files on one track. This can be used to trim large silences in files, and can save disk space and disk streaming bandwidth.

Force Output format (If Disabled, each track will default to its original sample rate)

Sample Rate

This will force the consolidated files into a specified Sample Rate. Select this check box to specify the sample rate to be used for the consolidation. Select the sample rate from the drop-down box by scrolling and clicking on the sample rate you wish to use:

You can consolidate in Stereo or Mono.

Resample Mode

This option sets the consolidation sample rate conversion method that is used for files that do not match the Project Sample Rate, or for when the Playspeed slider is active. By default, REAPER uses the highest quality mode. Three other consolidation settings are available from the drop-down list:

Consolidate resample mode does not affect files that are at the same sample rate as the Project, unless their playback speed has been altered.

Consolidate to

This will force a consolidation to a certain output format that you define. If this box isnt changed, it will default to .wav.

Currently supported Consolidation Formats:

• WAV 16, 24, or 32 bit floating point

• AIFF 16, 24 or 32 bit

• FLAC 16 bps 0-8 Quality

• MP3 CBR, VBR default, VBR old, VBR new, VBR mtrh or ABR Modes Stereo, Joint Stereo, Multi-Channel or Mono 8 - 320 Constant Bitrate 13 Quality options

• OGG Vorbis VBR, CBR or ABR Variable Quality and Bitrate options

• WavPack 16, 24, 32 and 32 bps float bit depths Variable Modes

Output

Consolidated files to Directory:

This will put all of the consolidated files into a specific directory.

Update Project with Consolidated Files

This will place the consolidated files in the project at their appropriate offset times.

Save New Project As:

This will save a new project with the consolidated files.

Save Current Project Before Updating Project

This will save your old project first before putting your consolidated files in and/or saving new project as whatever you specify.
