Name Aliasing

Input name aliasing / Output aliasing is enabled in the Options > Preferences > Audio ( Preferences_Audio )

To enter an input name alias:

1. Click on the Edit Names button. The Input Channel Name Aliasing window will open.

2. Double click on the Channel Name that you wish to rename. The Channel Alias window will open.

3. Enter the name that you want to use in the Alias field. Select OK.

4. Repeat this procedure for all of the Channels you wish to Alias.

5. Select OK to confirm your selection.

6. The Channels will now appear with the Aliased names in the Record Input selection.

To enter an output name alias:

The procedure for entering output name aliases is the same as the Input name aliasing procedure.

When output aliases are entered, the aliased names will appear in the I/O Audio Hardware Output section.
