I would like to work on reorganizing the StateChunkAndRppMidiFormat page. I'm not experienced in editing wikis, so I would appreciate any help. I would like to Move all that info about the midi spec to another page. Does such a page already exist? Shwa just clarified a whole bunch of stuff about the various fields of the StateChunk in this thread:

Mike 21:43, 17 January 2010 (UTC). Sounds good, I created the page initially without any clear idea of what it should look like in the end. The only principles I had were that I wanted the information to be directly relevant to REAPER and that people shouldn't have to dodge all over the internet looking for information, it should all be here and in an appropriate level of detail - so that you can gain a good understanding of the RPP format even if you don't understand MIDI beforehand. I've added a little bit of the info from the thread you mention, nothing about the eXtended notes yet though.

It's fairly easy to collaborate on this kind of thing, create a new blank page (click on it and see what I mean) with the new format etc. Once you're reasonably happy with it we can move it so that it replaces the original.

Wiki syntax is easy once you get into it, though it is a little daunting to start with. Why don't you put the text onto a new page with some notes (here, or on the new blank page) about how you want it to look and I'll whack it into shape. We can go back and forth like that for as long as you want.
