ReaXComp is a multicompressor. In many ways it has the similar controls and usage as an ordinary compressor (see ReaComp). It is different in the way that it splits up the audio into two ore more bands, and process each band individually.

ReaXcomp is a compressor plug-in.
Controls
Common Controls
Move a fader to set a value or, to set a value precisely, type directly into the input box if it is not "greyed-out". Double Click a fader to return to its default value.
"Fine-tune" a value controlled by a fader by holding the Ctrl key while moving the fader.

Extra channels can be created by clicking on the +
- UI - Toggle between default and custom User Interface
- 100% Wet - The plugin is bypassed when this is checked
Plugin Specific Controls
The basic controls of ReaComp are:
- Active - Enables or disables the current tab
- Threshold - Lower the threhsold to catch peaks, or delve deep into the innards of an audio signal.
- Ratio - From 1:1 to 100:1 (inf), the higher the ratio, the more marked the effect
- Auto make-up gain - Increases the gain when it drops below the threshold
- Program dependant release - ??
- Feedback detector - ??
- Knee Size - From 0dB to 24dB - This will tell the compressor to either start compressing as soon as a signal goes over the threshold (0dB) or start compressing after it goes over the threshold by a pre-determined amount (i.e. 1db to 24dB).
- Attack - From 0ms to 500ms (0.5 seconds) The time it take for the compression effect to reach full compression
- Release - From 0ms to 5000ms (5 seconds) The time it take for the compression effect to reach zero compression
- RMS size - This is an RMS detection function. See: RMS-size
- Log() scale automated frequencies
- Gain - The Gain for this tab
- Gain - The overall Gain for the plugin
- Add Band - Adds a band (tab)
- Delete Band - Deletes a band (tab)
- Rest to defaults -
- Solo current band (tab) -
- Tabs - Toggle the display of tabs
- Grid - Toggle the display of the grid
