REAPER Purchase

REAPER is available for download without technological limitations for evaluation purposes. Once you have evaluated REAPER, you should purchase a license.

The normal price for REAPER is $225.00 USD, however for users who wish to use REAPER only for non-commercial use we offer reduced price licensing for $50.00 USD. Upgrades from non-commercial licenses to full (commercial) licenses are available.

Full license purchase
A full REAPER license (which allows use of REAPER for commercial purposes as defined below) is available for $225.00 USD. The following purchasing options are available:
    Purchase with Credit Card


    Purchase a full (commercial use) license via SWREG (payment via credit card or nearly any other method, and fast serial number delivery).

    		Purchase with PayPal


    Purchase a full (commercial use) license direct from Cockos via PayPal.

    To ensure license delivery, please add support@cockos.com to your address book and/or email whitelist.

    Please note that the turnaround time for sending your registration code via PayPal may be 24-72 hours.     		Purchase via mail

    Purchase a full (commercial use) license direct from Cockos via mail by sending a check or money order in US Dollars drawn on a US bank for $225.00 to:

Non-commercial license purchase
A discounted non-commercial use REAPER license (which allows personal use of REAPER) is available for $50.00 USD. The following purchasing options are available:

License upgrades
Should you wish to upgrade from a non-commercial use license to a full (commercial use) license, you may do so by paying the difference in price (which is currently $175.00 USD). E-mail licensing@cockos.com (including your non-commerical license information) and we will provide you with instructions.

License Terms
  • Purchasing a license for REAPER v2.x entitles the user to use, on one computer at a time, past and future versions of REAPER up to and including v3.99.
  • REAPER is provided with full functionality, and will not expire after any period of time. We trust that you, the user, will obey the license agreement and purchase a license if use continues.
  • "Non-commercial use" as defined here, refers to the use of this software for the production of your own content, not for the purpose of making money.
  • "Commercial use" as defined here, refers to any use that is not a non-commercial use as defined above, and shall include, but not be limited to either of the following uses: a) the use of this software for the production of others' content for compensation, or b) the use of this software by a business for any purpose.
