Lowering volumes of many tracks at once

If you want to reduce the level of entire tracks (post-fx), this is done easily in reaper by selecting the tracks you want to gain reduce with click+ctrl (or a range by clicking on one end, then shift+clicking on the other end) and then lowering the fader of one of them.

If you want to reduce the level of items (POST FX and sometimes known as "objects" in other programs), its a very similar thing... ctrl click on all the items you want to lower the volume of, and then at the top of the waveform, you will see the cursor change to an arrow. Simply drag down!
