How do I backup my Reaper Settings to another Computer?
If I want to move my preferences, templates and shortcuts etc to another computer, is it just a matter of copying the Documents settings/user/application/Reaper folder to the new computer?
A:
I installed reaper on the new machine then copied the
- C:\documents\settings\<user>\application\reaper\ folder and the
- C:\program files\reaper\ folder of the old machine on top of the installed locations on the new machine.
- Be sure to backup your \VST folder\ wherever that is located on your machine (check your preferences)
