MIDI event position actions

Actions which change the position of MIDI events.
The following actions deal with changing the position of MIDI events in time or pitch
Note events and CC (other) events
Edit: Move events left/right (mousewheel/MIDI relative only) (Cmd ID 998)
Sections: MIDI Editor, MIDI Event List
The selected events will be moved horizontally according to the movement of the assigned mousewheel+modifier combination or an assigned endless rotary knob on a MIDI control surface.
Note events only
Edit: Move notes down one semitone (Cmd ID 40178)

Selected notes are moved down one semitone with each hit of the assigned key.
Edit: Move notes up one semitone (Cmd ID 40177)

Selected notes are moved up one semitone with each hit of the assigned key.
Edit: Move notes down one octave (Cmd ID 40180)

Selected notes are moved down one octave with each hit of the assigned key.
Edit: Move notes up one octave (Cmd ID 40179)

Selected notes are moved up one octave with each hit of the assigned key.
Edit: Move notes left one pixel (Cmd ID 40181)

Selected notes are moved leftward (backward in time) by a pixel of your screen resolution.
Mind that this action is zoom dependent. If you are zoomed in, one pixel is a shorter time than if you are zoomed further out.
Edit: Move notes right one pixel (Cmd ID 40182)

Selected notes are moved rightward (forward in time) by a pixel of your screen resolution.
Mind that this action is zoom dependent. If you are zoomed in, one pixel is a shorter time than if you are zoomed further out.
Edit: Move notes left one grid unit (Cmd ID 40183)

This action moves the selected notes to the left (backward in time) by the current grid division unit.
In the inline editor and the event list the grid of the MIDI piano roll editor is used, even though you don't see that grid in those editors.
Currently (v3.66) this action is not properly updated in the event list. Workaround: close/reopen or switch to piano roll and back to see the new position.

This action moves the selected notes to the right (forward in time) by the current grid division unit.

CC and other events (except notes and text events)

Edit: Move CC events left by grid (Cmd ID 40674)

This action moves the selected CC events to the left (backward in time) by the current grid division unit. Although this action exists in the event list section as well, it doesn't work when triggered in that section.
Edit: Move CC events right by grid (Cmd ID 40675)

This action moves the selected CC events to the right (forward in time) by the current grid division unit. Although this action exists in the event list section as well, it doesn't work when triggered in that section.
