Actions that deal with Reaper's MIDI event quantizing and humanizing features.

Quantize events... (Cmd ID 40009)

Sections: MIDI Editor, MIDI Event List, MIDI Inline Editor

Opens Reaper's MIDI quantize dialog.


Quantize events to grid (Cmd ID 40728)

Sections: MIDI Editor, MIDI Event List, MIDI Inline Editor

Quantizes selected notes start and/or CC events hard (100%) to the current grid division.


Quantize events using last quantize dialog setting (Cmd ID 40727)

Sections: MIDI Editor, MIDI Event List, MIDI Inline Editor

Quantizes selected notes and/or CC events using the last setting you made in the quantize dialog, disregarding it's selection dropdown (always uses "selected events").


Quantize notes position to grid (Cmd ID 40469)

Quantizes selected notes start hard (100%) to the current grid division.


Quantize notes position and end to grid (Cmd ID 40729)

Quantizes selected notes start and end hard (100%) to the current grid division.


Quantize notes using last quantize dialog setting (Cmd ID 40406)

Quantizes selected notes using the last setting you made in the quantize dialog, disregarding it's selection dropdown (always uses "selected events").


Unquantize events... (Cmd ID 40402)

Reaper's MIDI quantize is non-destructive. You can always revert selected events to the original timestamps using this action. Until you trigger the action "Freeze quantization for events".


Freeze quantization for events (Cmd ID 40403)

Sections: MIDI Editor, MIDI Event List, MIDI Inline Editor

Makes the quantization for the selected events permanent. These events won't revert to their original timestamp using "Unquantize events" anymore.


Humanize notes... (Cmd ID 40457)

Sections: MIDI Editor, MIDI Event List

Opens the Humanize Notes dialog. Lets you shift timing and velocity of the selected (or all) notes in a random manner.
