Actions to edit MIDI events

Edit: Undo (Cmd ID 40013)

Sections: MIDI Editor, MIDI Event List

Leads one step backward in REAPER's undo history. The inline editor shares this command with the Main section.
Default key: Ctrl+Z

Edit: Redo (Cmd ID 40014)

Sections: MIDI Editor, MIDI Event List

Leads one step forward in REAPER's undo history (undoes Undo). The inline editor shares this command with the Main section.
Default key: Ctrl+Shift+Z

Edit: Cut (Cmd ID 40012)

Sections: MIDI Editor, MIDI Event List, MIDI Inline Editor

Removes the selected events and stores them in the clipboard to paste them elsewhere.
Default key: Ctrl+X

Copies the selected events into the clipboard to paste a copy of them elsewhere.

Edit: Delete events (Cmd ID 40667)

Removes the selected events.
Default key: Delete

Edit: Delete notes (Cmd ID 40002)

Sections: MIDI Editor, MIDI Inline Editor

Removes the selected notes. Other selected events will not be removed.

Remove selected duplicate events (Cmd ID 40404)

Sections: MIDI Editor, MIDI Event List, MIDI Inline Editor

It can happen that multiple instances of the same note (same channel, same pitch, same length) turn out to be at the same timestamp, which can irritate the receiving instrument. (REAPER will avoid that with Correct overlapping notes while editing enabled). This action will remove the duplicates.
Does not remove other events, like CC.

Edit: Note properties (Cmd ID 40004)

Sections: MIDI Editor, MIDI Event List, MIDI Inline Editor

In MIDI Piano Roll and MIDI Inline editor this action opens the note properties window for selected notes where you can edit the note in all of it's MIDI aspects.
In the event list this action opens the event properties for any selected event. If only notes are selected, note properties are opened.

Edit: Reverse events (Cmd ID 40019)

Sections: MIDI Editor, MIDI Event List, MIDI Inline Editor

Reverses all events in the item in time. First event becomes last, last becomes first. Disregarding selection.

Double length of MIDI (repeating contents) (Cmd ID 40478)

Sections: MIDI Editor, MIDI Event List, MIDI Inline Editor

Items with "Loop item source" disabled: Copies the MIDI content between the item borders and pastes it right after the item's right border. Selection is disregarded, empty space is preserved. You have to drag out the right border of the item to make the added content visible and played.
Items with "Loop item source" enabled: Effectively removes every other item loop bar, doubles the length of each loop.
